American Corporate Partners (ACP) is a non-profit organization providing a free, year-long mentorship to veterans. They connect post 9/11 veterans (proteges) with corporate professionals (mentors). In 2016, they established their Women’s program to connect female veterans with female entrepreneurs and business leaders. The January networking event was co-hosted by mentor Rita Kakati Shah, CEO and founder of Uma, an organization that helps women transition back into the workforce. The event was an opportunity for attendees to meet other female mentors and proteges in the New York area.
