In keeping with our objective to be the leader among SDVOB broker-dealers in Veteran Engagement, AmeriVet Securities, Inc., is very fortunate to have our California office located in the Congressional District of Congressman Mark Takano, who is the Chairman of the Veterans Affairs Committee.  This very fortunate situation has allowed the President & CEO of Amerivet Securities, Elton Johnson, Jr., to meet with Congressman Takano several times and brief him on all the veteran engagement activities and events the AmeriVet team has either participated in or conducted.  As a result of the work done by the AmeriVet team for veterans and the work done by Elton Johnson related to the Afghans he served with during his combat tour in Afghanistan, Elton Johnson was invited to be honored guest of Congressman Takano at this year’s State of the Union Address.  It is our intention to continue to work with Congressman Takano and all members of the Veterans Affairs Committee to ensure that our veterans are taken care of and never forgotten for what they have done for our country.
