At the close of Black History Month, AmeriVet Securities was invited to the National Museum of African American History & Culture in Washington D.C. for a riveting discussion on the contributions and impacts of Black Americans in the United States Armed Forces. The program culminated with a panel discussion between distinguished guests including Veterans Affairs Secretary Denis McDonough.  

AmeriVet Securities Co-CEO Mercedes Elias and Veteran Engagement Associate Sidney Covington received a tour of the National Museum of African American History & Culture then joined the Black Veterans Empowerment Council (BVEC) for a working lunch to continue discussing ways to support black veterans across the United States.
