Bob Jones Honored at New York Mets Game
In June, our President and Vietnam Prisoner of War, Bob Jones, was honored at the New York Mets game for his military service.
Mr. Jones is a 1965 West Point graduate and U.S. Air Force veteran. He deployed to Vietnam, where he flew the F-4 Phantom and accumulated more than 80 combat missions over North Vietnam and Laos.
On January 18, 1968, his plane was shot down, forcing him to eject over enemy territory where he was held as a Prisoner of War for 62 months. Mr. Jones was released during Operation Homecoming on March 14, 1973, after 1,882 days in captivity.
