Employees Graduate from Investor Program for Veterans

Congratulations to two of our military veteran employees who are the most recent graduates of Signature Bank’s First-Time Invest Program (FTIP), a course designed in 2002 to educate veterans on investing in stocks, bonds and mutual funds.

James Fitzgerald, Public Finance Associate at AmeriVet and U.S. Army veteran, and Quinn Caffrey, Debt Capital Markets intern and U.S. Marine Corps veteran, joined the seven-week course to learn more about the financial tools available to help veterans plan for their future.

Each session is led by Signature Bank employees who volunteer their time after scheduled work hours, as well as experts from a range of leading financial services institutions. The sessions incorporate an introduction to banking, how the stock market works and strategies for long-term investing.

Upon completion, Signature Securities Group Corporation works with each veteran to open an investment account with cost-free management services for two years.

AmeriVet Securities is proud to join Signature Bank in supporting our military and investing in the future of our veterans.
