The Employing U.S. Vets conference is a semi-annual conference hosted by the Military Times and VETS Indexes.  The conference brings large and small corporations together who are looking to expand their support of the veteran community.  Companies that do not have a designated veteran support network or Employee Resource Group (ERG) learn about best practices on establishing their support network from companies with established networks.  This year’s fall conference featured AmeriVet Securities’ Board of Directors member, Bob Jones, who discussed his time served as a Prisoner of War, resiliency, and the imperative need to hire veterans in corporate America.  The spring conference will be held on April 7, 2020 and more information regarding it can be found at https://employingusvets.com/.
