Earlier this month, Sidney Covington, our Vice President of Veteran Engagement and a U.S. Army veteran, attended the Pritzker Military Museum & Library‘s 22nd Annual Liberty Gala in Chicago.

This year’s theme was “Salute to 250: Honoring America’s Armed Forces,” celebrating the legacy and sacrifice of service members past and present.

Ms. Covington had the opportunity to witness a fellow U.S. Army veteran, retired Lieutenant General H.R. McMaster, receive the “Citizen Soldier Award.” The award is given to individuals who exemplify the spirit of a citizen-soldier; a person who serves the nation in military and civilian life for the common good.
