Last month, Governor Kathy Hochel called on the New York National Guard to provide support amidst the protests outside of multiple New York state prisons. One of our Equity Capital Markets interns, Aldo Arossa, serves in the Guard and was among the members activated for Joint Task Force New York National Guard Support to Department of Corrections and Community Supervision.

Mr. Arossa provides critical support and ensures inmate needs are met throughout the ongoing corrections officer strike. He also served in the initial distribution and application of the COVID-19 vaccine at the Javits Center in New York City, during the early stages of the pandemic.
