We were honored to support the Salute to Servicewomen Golf Classic, benefitting two homes in the Twin Cities for women veterans and military families living in MACV Minnesota Assistance Council for Veterans transitional homes. VA research shows that women veterans are more than twice as likely to become homeless as women who do not serve in the military and are more often accompanied by dependents. The transitional housing creates a stable environment – a place the veteran can work on her future without worrying where her and her family will sleep each night. MACV provides the home and a case manager to support the veteran’s efforts towards self sufficiency.
