U.S. Marine Corps Veteran

Eric Kostakis served in the U.S. Marine Corps for four years and was stationed at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina.

During his time in the military, Mr. Kostakis was a machine gun squad leader and deployed to overseas locations such as Spain, Africa and Italy. As a squad leader, he was responsible for ensuring the safety of many Marines, while employing medium machine guns through numerous successful field and deployment operations.

Following his military service, Mr. Kostakis moved back to the tri-state area and began working as a skilled pipe laborer. Due to his service-connected disabilities and ambition to work in finance, he left construction to pursue a bachelor’s degree in business administration.

Mr. Kostakis currently attends Monmouth University and will transfer to Columbia University for the 2023 fall semester. In his free time, he enjoys reading, playing golf and spending time outdoors.
