Joseph Vandervelt

Joseph Vanderveldt is a U.S. Army veteran and currently serves as a financial analyst intern at AmeriVet Securities.

Mr. Vanderveldt studied criminal justice at The Citadel and was a member of the Pipe and Drum Band. Upon graduation in 2015, he commissioned as a logistics officer in the U.S. Army.

While on active duty, Mr. Vanderveldt was stationed in Schofield Barracks, Hawaii and Fort Bragg, North Carolina, where he led logistics and supply chain operations in high-pressure environments. During this time, he developed strong analytical, leadership, and execution skills.

After transitioning from the military in 2024, he became an MBA candidate at Fordham University’s Gabelli School of Business and is scheduled to graduate in May 2026. He recently interned with Heineken USA, as part of their Operations team.
