On August 10th, AmeriVet Securities Engagement & Communication Associate James Fitzgerald joined the Travis Manion Foundation for a Back-To-School event with Beat the Streets Providence at Hope High School in Providence, Rhode Island. Beat the Streets cultivates youth development in underserved communities by encouraging a desire for excellence, respect, teamwork, leadership, integrity, and perseverance through the instruction of quality wrestling programs.

TMF Veteran Mentors from throughout the Northeast region showed up to have some fun with these young athletes while delivering lessons about teamwork, hope, and perseverance. After using teamwork to build some cool 3-D structures, they took things outside for a pre-lunch workout followed by a backpack giveaway filled with great stuff for the upcoming school year!
