Tyler Johnson, Equity Syndicates Intern

Seven months after graduating from high school, Tyler Johnson enlisted into the United States Navy. Tyler swore in on February 14, 2012 and left the next day for basic training in Great Lakes, Illinois. After eight weeks of training, Tyler continued onwards to Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio, Texas for twelve weeks of Hospital Corpsman A-school. There, he learned basic medical training and clinical techniques. Next, Tyler traveled to Field Medical Training Battalion in Camp Lejeune, North Carolina for eight weeks of combined combat and emergency medical training with the Marine Corps. Upon completing his training, Tyler was then stationed at The Basic School in Quantico, Virginia. Tyler spent the next two years there providing medical support for junior Marine Corps officers and training staff. In December 2014, Tyler then transferred to Camp Pendleton, California. Upon arriving, he was assigned to 1st Medical Battalion, 1st Marine Logistics Group. While stationed there, Tyler supported Marine Corps operations across the Southern California region, participated in San Francisco Fleet Week, and assisted in the training of visiting Naval Academy cadets. Tyler completed his enlistment in Camp Pendleton and was honorably discharged on November 14, 2016.
