In late April, our firm sponsored a roundtable session for women veterans, with opening remarks by our Co-CEO Mercedes Elias, with a special focus on women veteran entrepreneurs. The roundtable was held in collaboration with the New York University Veterans Future Lab and PenFed Foundation Veteran Entrepreneur Investment Program and brought women veterans together to discuss the challenges they face as entrepreneurs, how to overcome barriers, and the importance of remaining resilient and resourceful.
