Financial Analyst Intern (Fall)

Our finance analyst internship will provide exposure to analytical support across a number of functions, including capital-raising, investor relations, forecasting, and strategic analysis. The finance analyst intern will work directly with the Head of Business Development and be assigned to one of our capital markets coverage teams. The intern will get unprecedented access to senior and executive management decision making process. We are looking for talented and ambitious U.S. Military Veterans who want to start a career in finance. Our training programs will ensure you have the skills and knowledge to succeed in our environment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Financial modeling and analysis of business scenarios and strategic planning
- Under mentorship from senior bankers, provide detailed research regarding companies utilizing diversity and inclusion broker-dealers for debt and equity capital raising, mergers and significant trades
- Assist in preparation of presentations for senior and executive teams
- Assist in compiling and analyzing macroeconomic and industry trends
- Exposure to investor relations dealing with private equity, broker dealers and investments
Qualifications:
- Actively pursuing Bachelor’s degree
- Military Veteran with honorable discharge required
- No finance experience necessary
- Desire to work in the financial sector
- Experience with Microsoft Office
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral
- The ability to meet deadlines as well as the flexibility to change work priorities on demand based on firm priorities
- Ability to work in teams, adapt to change and multi-task are critical skills
- Strong analytical skills and intellectual curiosity
- Outstanding ethics, integrity and judgment
