Our team joined the The Black 6 Project and Backpacks For Life on the 9/11 memorial march from the Intrepid down to Ground Zero to honor the lives of those taken on this fateful day 20 years ago. Teams of firefighters from the FDNY ran by during this march carrying American flags in remembrance. After the march, our team went to O’Haras pub where firefighters and first responders from across the US came to pay their respects. Widows and children were also there, surrounded by others who wanted to make sure that we honored their loved one’s loss and sacrifice. May we never forget the events of this day, and may the memories of our friends, colleagues and loved ones live on. #neverforget
