The New Issue calendar saw weekly estimates topped and came in at $35 billion. August volume now stands at $61 billion on estimates of $85 billion for the month with 2 and 1/2 weeks to go. Financial spreads were unchanged to 7-basis points wider on light summer secondary volume and we saw $1.9 billion of net client selling on the week.

Great job by the AmeriVet Securities team last week as we were a Co-Manager on $2.95 billion 4-part deal for Thermo Fisher, $600 million 5yr-FMB Green bond for San Diego Gas & Electric, and $2 billion 3-part deal for McDonald’s.
