Floriaan van der Knaap

Floriaan van der Knaap is a U.S. Marine Corps veteran. He served for four years as an Engineer Equipment Operator, providing logistical and operational support via material handling and horizontal construction.

During his time in service, he was stationed in Okinawa, Japan, for three years, serving in operational and supervisory roles to support forces in the Asia-Pacific theater. In addition to his regular duties as an engineer, he was a member of his base’s security detail and an operational stress relief instructor.

Mr. van der Knaap received his bachelor’s degree in economics from Boston University in 2015 and is currently working towards a master’s degree at SUNY Maritime College. Additionally, he is registered with FINRA Series 7 & 63.

In his spare time, Mr. van der Knaap enjoys reading, cooking, and spending time with family and friends.
