Yujie Hu

Yujie Hu was born China. He immigrated with his mother to the United States when he was 9 years old and grew up in rural Ohio. He is a veteran of the U.S. Army.

Mr. Hu studied Political Science and Biology at the Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. He graduated in 2019 and was commissioned as a logistics officer through the Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC).

During his time on active duty, Mr. Hu was stationed in Fort Riley, Kansas as a part of the 1st Infantry Division. He supported Operation Atlantic Resolve in Poland from 2021-2022 as a part of the European Deterrence Initiative.

In his free time, he enjoys cooking new dishes, exploring New York City and skiing.
